Bio:

Özge Uluçkan, PhD, is Senior Director of Discovery Project Leaders at Almirall R&D in Barcelona. Originally from Cyprus, she studied Molecular Genetics at the University of Rochester as a Fulbright Scholar and earned her PhD in Advanced Genetics and Genomics at Washington University in St. Louis. Her postdoctoral research at CNIO in Madrid focused on immune-microbiota interactions and bone comorbidities in skin inflammation. She later joined the Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research in Basel as a lab head and project leader in dermato-immunology. Özge brings deep expertise in translational immunology and leads cross-functional teams developing innovative therapies for medical dermatology.
